What you have to know to understand this sketch is mainly politics as well as the demeanor of the people running or ran in the election. With Hilary always blurting out trying to overpower Palin, one would have to know about her powerfulness. Also with Hilary, there were suggestive comments pertaining to the rumours of her sex. In the joke of Hilary lending her pair to the press, that indicated that hilary had Male sexual organs. Palin who semed like a showcase running mate, only spoke of herself as a trophy

Gender switch.

If i woke up the opposite sex, the agenda of activites would go as foolows:
I would scream for 3 hours.
Take a very long shower.
Cry
Find some place to get my hair and nails did. (I got to be fresh even if I am a girl)
Cry
Watch some Soap Opera
Cry
Find a rich man and take his money by using my sexy womanistic charm.
Stay inside and never come out jsut simply because I don't want anybody seeing me as a woman or even trying to holler at me like I am some piece of meat. (I know because I do it all the time)
Cry
Bake a pie filled with rich fruits and spices that only a fool wouldn't love.
Cry myself to sleep.

Scavenger Hunt

The visual is very simple in every aspect. With only three colors, two pictures come together to make one strategy. A silhouette of a skateboarder with a red slash tells the the skateboarding audience not to skate visually as the words tell not to in an alternate manor. The tone is simple but enforceable. Everything is black and white except the red slash that is somewhat the universal sign for not doing something. The creator of the text made this to enforce more so over persuade skateboarders to not skate in this specific area. Though it is not as evident as other texts, i believe that this text uses logos rhetorical strategies because the text is strictly factual, there is no emotion or some kind of stature that a person or company is trying to uphold. I think the text is fairly effective, simple but strong.

Letters to G-mac and Grandma

Dear G-Mac,
Whats up? I've been holding down the Knox like a G.C.C cat suppose to. I haven't been doing much, mostly chilling with the memphis folks. Them cats funny right there. Just yesterday we was outside no limit clement talking bout all the different things we'd do for a billion bones. That stuff got way out of order. We even start talking bout the different sex moves and stories. Man the clubs are jumping too. No like the Ville of course, but they shake it for a pink toe city. Its a club called Malibu 7 in east Knox and that junt be yunk as I dont know what fool. Nobody trying to bang on each other, fight or shoot. Its like everybody just come to have a good time. You know I'm used to somebody shooting at me in the club so I was kinda shocked when no biscuits was baked. Its been cool man so hold down the ville like a dude suppose to.

Yo trigga nigga,
JP

Dear Bunny,
Hey hows it goin? I've been doing good. Studying as usual. I know even you don't believe that. I have, however, been on my job. Reresenting the Sharp family isn't an easy task. I went to the club and the Memphis folk outnumbered the Nashville people so you know I had to act a fool. Its not the same having my friends to dance with me but I have to do it anyhow. I've been staying healthy too. I try to play basketball everyday and eat right in the cafeteria. There food is nowhere near good as yours. And Bunny you was right, these girls are nothing but trouble. Some girl touched me innapropriately and acted like it was ok. I handled the situation so you dont have to bring "lester" up here. Well it was good talking to you and tell Caviar & Champaine I said i miss them.

Love Ya,
Justin

Drug Commercials (Compare & Contrast)

The first drung commercial is an egg frying in a pan stating that when one uses drugs their brain fries. This was some what of a logos commercial and used fear emotions of ones body. The date of the commercial is in the 80's, so the absence of much drug knowledge as well as the stricter laws from the FCC creates a simpler commercial than the one that is shown at the later date. The newer commercial strongly uses pathos and ethos, a much higher scale than the first one. Ethos wise, unlike the first commercial, they use a female who is slightly dischevled withheavy eye liner on to further the hypothesis that she has used drugs. When the message comes from her perspective, it is more believable because it becomes somewhat of a testimony. Pathos wise, the emotions are stronger as well as broader. The commercial just doesn't play on the fear emotion, it also plays on the anger, sympathetic, sad, and fustrated. Her smashing all the plates and other items portrays a woman who has emotional fustration with her drug addiction, making the audience think twice about creating an addiction of their own. Also, the first commercial had a wider audience, but in the second commercial, the youthful speaker targets the audience of the high school to college realm of Americans.
